General Description: 1982 Custom 500,000 Lbs Maxi HDD Rig in Good Condition - Includes:-Rig Skid-Power Skid-Pipe Crane Skid-Mud Tank/Tool Room Skid-Mud Pumps-All Downhole Tools-All Inventoried Spares-Pipe Tongs-All Miscellaneous Tools (currently existing inside tool room).Inclusive with the entire rig spread are significant inventories!See "View Specification Files" for detailed information.Mixing System(s): Mud Tank: Stores and mixes about 150 bbls. of drilling fluids. It has an internal suction strainer and mixing jets used to mix the drilling mud. It has (2) mud mixing hoppers. Plumbing is such that either system can be used independently or simultaneously. The mud tank was completely rebuilt and coated in 1999.Centrifugal Pumps: 5" Mission Magnum pumps used to mix the mud in the tank and to transfer mud to the drilling rig mud pump or the larger capacity mud pump.Accessories: Rig Includes the Following items:Numerous Reamers and Swabs (see list for details)(3) Pull Back Swivels - 500,000 lbs. and less2 7/8" Bottom Hole Assemblies, Non-Magnet. with Jets and BitsMud Motor, Slimdril brand, 2 7/8" , 12' long, approximately 250 lbsSubmersible Drilling Water Feed Pump (Flygt brand pump new never used and still in original box and crated)Additional Information: Type of Drawworks: (2) Cable winches driven by Hagglund hydraulic motors for fast drawworks travel (used for 90% of crossings) (1) Cable winch hydraulic motor used in tandem with the above winches for difficult pull backs. Total pull back capacity calculated but untested is 500,000+ lbs. (exceeds the normal and rated strength of Grade E pipe)Rig Pipe Capacity: 32'+ stroke to accommodate range 2 (31' avg.) length of drill pipe.Rotary System: A selective number (1-4) of hydraulic motors with (3) currently mounted and a spare 4th motor unmounted and included in sale. A total of eight motor ports exist on the gear box. Torque rated and untested with (4) motors is 80,000 ft-lbs. (exceeds the rated and normal torque of 5" grade E drill pipe)Outgoing Range of Bit Diameters: This is dependent upon soil conditions. Drilled Crossings has drilled outgoing with bits ranging from 3" to 18" in diameter. (not the maximum capacity of the rig)Incoming Range of Reamer Diameters: This is dependent upon soil conditions. Drilled Crossings has pulled back incoming reamers up to 54" in diameter for 3000'. (not the maximum capacity of the rig)Maximum Drilling Length: This is currently unknown and is dependent upon soil conditions, size of reamer and pipe or casings used. (estimated length is over 6600') Note that inclusive of projects done with this rig was a 36" x 3000' crossing (not the limit of the rig capacity)Vices: Large vices that include both upper and lower vices for drill pipe sizes from 2 3/8" to 7 7/8" casing pipe. Lower vices are hydraulically actuated from inside the driller's cabin to reposition the vices as needed up and down the rig skid.Rig Inclination: This is accomplished by hydraulics from the driller's cabin.
