10'Single Drum, 1000 HP Hepburn Mine Hoist
- Driven by one 1,000 Hp DC motor through a direct coupled gear box
- Pinion brake mounted between the gearbox and motor
- DC Power supplied via a 4 Quadrant new ABB drive
- Hoist NDT inspected at shutdown and in excellent condition
- Main brakes are "Twiflex" brake calipers on all four corners of drum, two discs on either side of the rope cassette
