Description
FOR COMPLETE LISTING INFORMATION PLEASE SELECT THE CLICK TO BID BUTTON TO SEE THIS ITEM ON EBAY. THIS IS A FARM MACHINE I RECENTLY ACQUIRED FROM MY PARENTS' ESTATE. IT HAS BEEN SITTING A BARN FOR MANY YEARS PENDING SETTLEMENT OF THE ESTATE. IT HAD THE MOTOR REBUILT BY THE LOCAL JOHN DEERE DEALER PRIOR TO BEING PLACED IN STORAGE. MY ESTIMATE IS THAT THERE ARE FEWER THAN 50 HOURS ON THE MOTOR. ONCE I ACQUIRED IT FROM THE ESTATE, I PLACED A NEW BATTERY IN IT AND IT STARTED RIGHT UP. I HAVE SINCE HAD THE LOCAL JOHN DEERE DEALER REMOVE THE OLD FIBER STYLE STEERING CLUTCHES AND REPLACE THEM WITH MODERN METALLIC DISKS. THE DRY CLUTCHES WERE ALWAYS A PROBLEM WHEN THEY HAD NO BETTER ALTERNATIVE THAN FIBER. THE METALLIC CLUTCHES WILL NOT HAVE THE ISSUES WITH MOISTURE THAT PLAGUED THE FIBER CLUTCHES. NEW TRACK ADJUSTERS WERE INSTALLED AT THE SAME TIME. IT STARTS RIGHT UP IN BELOW FREEZING TEMPERATURES WITHOUT STARTING AIDS AND OPERATES LIKE NEW. THERE ARE NO KNOWN PROBLEMS WITH THIS MACHINE
