John Deere X740

This is a 2007 John Deere X740 Tractor. I bought it new and have used it infrequently...it only has 153 hours on it. It was my secondary unit used primarily for leaf collection in the fall. Rarely used for mowing even though it has a 62" deck. It comes with the Yanmar 24 HP Diesel engine which provides PLENTY of power. In addition to the tractor, I am selling the John Deere MC519 collection rig including the 19 bushel cart, the power flow unit that attaches to the mower deck and the connecting chute. The cart is very easy to dump as reflected in the photographs. The MC519 and power flow unit are easily removed from the tractor when not needed. The tractor and MC519 rig come together in this sale. The tractor itself is full of features including cruise control, hydraulic deck lift, tilt steering, cup holder, 12 volt outlet which is switched (very convenient for spraying etc), parking brake and THE MOST COMFORTABLE seat going!! ...with a super high back and plenty of shock absorption to smooth out the ride. The tractor has a hydrostatic transmission (no gear shifting) and is 2 wheel drive with a differential locking pedal easily actuated if rear wheels start to slip. Big turf tires have plenty of tread remaining given low usage. It just goes and goes...Annual maintenance performed each year by me or AG Power in Rhome TX. I am asking $7,950 for the tractor and all accessories. Having checked around quite a bit, I am firm on that price. Will require deposit of $250 to hold it and cashiers check for the balance and a form of picture ID upon pickup. This a a rock solid serious tractor...not the JD toys being sold at Lowes.
