Description
Indirect fired rotary kiln features an 8" D x 3'6" L Inconel tube for processing and testing materials at temperatures of up to 2,000 F. The kiln is housed in a split tube furnace lined with hard refractory. The kiln can process up to 10 lb./hr. of material. 7 (seven) Maxon, manually adjusted, air inspirated, natural gas burners use the pressure of compressed air to maintain the proper air to fuel ratio. Compressed air train includes a manual shut-off, automatic shut-off and regulator. Fuel train includes regulator, high gas pressure switch, and low gas pressure switch. Unit has 3 (three) thermocouples along the tube, 1 (one) in each of the 2 (two) exhaust stacks, and 1 (one) in the vapor discharge. Vapor flow is configurable to parallel or counter-current flow. Solids discharge through a manually controlled gate valve. Unit is mounted to a frame on wheels for easy portability around the lab. Good condition. Listing Number: 14833.
