Description

  • We have for sale a 2011, PD 5700 60 foot, 12" (305mm), we have used this machine on 18metre controlled traffic configuration, this is a true parallelogram tyne, air seeder bar. We have sold the air tank, separating the bar from the cart. $167,000 for the bar +GST
  • This series of machine has a very robust row unit, this has a very thin edge on opener for minimal disturbance. This machine is field ready and presents as a new bar would, nothing to do to start planting!! We have no further use for this machine as we are getting out of farming operations.
  • It has a Flex frame, (5 sections) and independent press wheels. It has on the go Tyne pressure, press wheel pressure and frame pressure adjusted via touchscreen in the cabin. It has the capability to have a flexicoil cart plugged into the one monitor if desired.
  • We have found this machine to have excellent ground following ability, it will follow any undulation or variation in seedbed, delivering precise depth of seed and row closure every time. The tyne is dual acting and has the ability to penetrate very hard soils without compromise, we have used this to break through some double crop fallows a couple of times and have been happily surprised.
  • It has been used on the one farm without travel, we have planted Canola, wheat, barley and durum at good speeds (9KM/hr). It can handle chickpeas, mung beans, smaller faba beans, lupins, field peas and dry fertilisers. We have been planting combined product (seed and fert) up to 220kg/ha without any problems.
  • This machine was originally setup as double shoot, we have since changed to Bourgalt single shoot openers. All double shoot heads are still in place and sealed off, down tubes are to go with machine. Original double shoot shanks are also to go with machine.
  • We bought this machine new, last season this has been fully Flexi-Coil upgraded, bushing, pins, row unit frames, this was a factory recall.
  • We have replaced all press wheel tyres, new wheel bearings and seals prior to '16 winter planting. All sensors, wiring, hydraulics and air lines are in very good condition. Some spares to go with machine, some spare shanks, some tips and spare presswheels. We have just replaced the main 63mm air hoses to heads, replaced due to some fatigue noticed.
  • This machine has done approximately 8000ha, very tidy machine in very good condition, field ready. Price is GST exlusive
